Sunplus Technology Co Limited30 April 2008 Sunplus Proposes Cash Dividend of NT$2.5 and Stock Dividend of 5% Hsinchu Science Park, Taiwan, April 29th, 2008 !V Sunplus Technology Co., Ltd.(TAIEX: 2401, LSE: SUPD) today held the Board of Directors Meeting and adopted aproposal recommending distribution of NT$2.5 cash dividend and 5% stock dividendper common share. According to this proposal, GDR holders will get 5% stockdividend and cash dividend NT$5 per GDR share for each GDR share represents 2common Sunplus shares. The Board of Directors also adopted a proposal of employee profit sharing from2007 profits, including 13,500,000 shares of stock bonus and NT$15 million cashbonus. Sunplus 2007 net sales (parent company only) was NT$9,214 million, and netincome after tax was NT$2,062 million, with earning per share of NT$3.7 based onoutstanding shares 556,750,438 shares on 2007/12/31.
