Catlin Group Limited11 March 2005 DIVIDEND DETAILS HAMILTON, Bermuda - The Board of Directors of Catlin Group Limited hasrecommended a final dividend of 15.6 US cents (8.1 pence) per share in respectof the year ended 31 December 2004, which will be paid on 31 May 2005 toshareholders of record at the close of business on 29 April 2005, subject toshareholders' approval at the Annual General Meeting on 25 May 2005. When addedto the declared interim dividend of 7.9 US cents (4.3 pence), this will make atotal dividend for the year of 23.5 US cents (12.4 pence) per share. The final dividend has been calculated in US dollars but declared in sterlingbased on the exchange rate of 1.93 prevailing on 9 March 2005. The finaldividend will therefore be payable in sterling except for shareholders who haveelected as at 10 March 2005 to receive their dividends in US dollars.
