GM Declares Quarterly Dividend DETROIT, Aug. 2 -- General Motors Corp. (NYSE: GM) today announced a third-quarter dividend of $0.50 per share on GM common stock. The dividend is payable Sept. 10, 2005, to holders of record as of Aug. 12, 2005. The dividend rate is unchanged from the previous quarter. General Motors, the world's largest vehicle manufacturer, designs, builds and markets cars and trucks worldwide, and has been the global automotive sales leader since 1931.
