Sale of Hacienda Chada S.A., Chile

Camellia Plc announces that an agreement was entered into on 10th September 2009 for the sale of the group's interests in its Chilean subsidiary, Hacienda Chada SA to Agricola Barros Limitada and Inmobiliaria, Asesorías e Inversiones Barros Limitada. 

The sale is for a total cash consideration of US$9.5 million, the majority of which will be used to repay borrowings by Hacienda Chada S.A. in accordance with the terms of the sale and purchase agreement.
