In view of the significant discount to net asset value at which the Company's shares trade, the Board of Ashmore Global Opportunities Limited (the "Company") announces that it is considering the options available to address this structural issue. The Board expects to announce any conclusions no later than its January meeting. Accordingly, the Board is suspending its share buyback programme with immediate effect.
