Halma p.l.c. has received notification that E Jane Aikman, a non-executive Director of the Company, acquired a beneficial interest in 2,000 ordinary shares in the Company at 188.75p per share on 19 January 2009.

After the above transaction, the beneficial holding of E Jane Aikman in the ordinary shares of Halma p.l.c. amounts to 2,000 shares (0.0005% of the issued ordinary share capital excluding treasury shares).
