Purchase of shares by Director

John Robinson, an Executive Director and Chief Underwriting Officer of Omega Insurance Holdings Limited (the "Company"), disclosed to the Company on 5 June 2008 that, on that date, he acquired 50,000 common shares of US$0.10 each in the Company at a price of 150p per share, representing 0.03% of the Company's issued share capital as at 5 June 2008. As previously notified to the Company, John Robinson was already the registered holder of 16,890,000 common shares of US$0.10 each in the share capital of the Company, and held options over 3,350,000 common shares of US$0.10. Following the above share purchase on 5 June 2008, John Robinson is now the registered holder of 16,940,000 common shares of US$0.10 each in the share capital of the Company, representing 11.48% of the Company's issued share capital as at 5 June 2008, and continues to hold options over 3,350,000 common shares of US$0.10.
