Director's Shareholding

The Company has today been notified that Stephen Wilson, Group Finance Director, purchased 26 ordinary shares of 10 pence each in the Company ("Shares") yesterday at a price of 1232.5 pence per Share, following a reinvestment of the Company's final dividend paid out on Stephen Wilson's existing shareholding.

Following this transaction, Stephen Wilson's direct shareholding in the Company now stands at 3,026 Shares which represents 0.01% of the issued share capital of the Company that is currently 60,896,869 Shares. In addition, he is the beneficial owner of 86,410 conditional nil-cost Share options under the Company's 2004 Performance Share Plan.
