DIRECTOR SHAREHOLDING

Modern Water (AIM:MWG), the owner of leading water technologies focused on addressing the scarcity of fresh water, the treatment of wastewater, and monitoring of water quality, has been informed that on 31 March 2011 Mr Robert Clarke, a non-executive director of the Company, acquired 150,000 ordinary shares of 0.25p each in the Company. These shares were acquired at a price of 48p per share, and represent 0.25% of the total issued ordinary shares of the Company.

Including this purchase, Mr Robert Clarke has a beneficial interest in 350,000 ordinary shares in the Company, representing 0.59% of the total issued ordinary shares.
