Genus PLC26 February 2008 For Immediate Release 26 February 2008 Genus plc ("the Company") Director's Dealings The Company has been notified that Richard Wood, Chief Executive, has today purchased 14,200 Ordinary Shares of 10p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price per share of 700p. Richard Wood's direct shareholding in the Company now stands at 14,200 Ordinary Shares which represents 0.02% of the issued share capital of the Company which is currently 59,274,606 Ordinary Shares. In addition, he remains the beneficial owner of 410,285 conditional shares under the Company's Performance Share Plan. The Company has also been notified that Nigel Turner, Senior Non-ExecutiveDirector, has today purchased 15,000 Ordinary Shares at a price per share of716p. Nigel Turner's direct shareholding in the Company now stands at 15,000 Ordinary Shares which represents 0.03% of issued share capital of the Company.
