DIRECTOR SHARE PURCHASE

London: 20 July 2012 - ECR Minerals plc announces that it has today been informed of the purchase today by Stephen Clayson, a director of the Company and its Chief Financial Officer, of 182,000 ordinary shares of the Company of 0.1 pence at a price of 0.669 pence per share.

Stephen Clayson is now beneficially interested in 182,000 ordinary shares of the Company, representing approximately 0.02 per cent of the Company's total issued share capital.
