Director PDMR Shareholding

Volex Group plc (the "Company") announces that on 25 July 2011, Ray Walsh, Chief Executive Officer, purchased 7,500 ordinary shares of the Company, par value £0.25, at a price of 315 pence.

The purchase represents 0.012% of the ordinary issued share capital of the Company. With this purchase, Mr. Walsh now holds a total of 50,000 ordinary shares of Volex Group plc, or a total of 0.08% of the ordinary issued share capital of the Company.

This announcement is made in accordance with the requirements of the FSA Disclosure and Transparency Rules 3.1.2 to 3.1.4.
