Notification of Transactions by Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities ('PDMRs')

Hays plc ("the Company")

In accordance with Disclosure and Transparency Rule 3.1.4R(1)(a), the Company hereby notifies you that, on 8 June 2012, a person connected with Alan Thomson, Chairman and PDMR, purchased 25,000 Ordinary Shares of 1p each in the Company at 73.05p per share.

Following this transaction, Mr Thomson's interest in the Ordinary share capital of the Company is 125,000 shares.
