Chairman Acquires 100,000 Shares in the Company

The Company was notified on 9 October 2008 of the purchase on 9 October 2008 by the Chairman of the Company, Aloysius Wilhelmus Johannes van der Heijden, of 100,000 ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the share capital of the Company ('Shares') at a price of 44 pence per Share. As a consequence, Mr. van der Heijden's shareholding in the Company is 200,000 Shares representing 0.14% per cent of the existing share capital of the Company.
