LTIP AWARDS

Persimmon Plc ("the Company") announces that on 8 April 2009 the following awards of ordinary shares of 10p each were made to Directors under the Persimmon Long Term Incentive Plan 2007 ("the Plan").

Under the Plan, the vesting of shares awarded is subject to performance criteria and will not normally take place until 2012, i.e. three years after the date of award.

As a result of the above, the Directors hold options/awards over the following number of ordinary shares granted under the Company's various share schemes:-
