Redstone PLC10 June 2005 10th June 2005 Redstone plc ("the Company") Director change The Company has appointed Martin Balaam as a Director of the Company and he willact as Chief Executive Officer in place of Ian Brown. Ian has ceased to be anexecutive Director and will become a non-executive Director in due course. Martin Balaam is aged 36 and is the Chief Executive Officer of the Xpert Group,recently acquired by the Company. Ian Brown said " After 4 challenging but rewarding years at the helm of RedstoneI have decided the time is right for me to step down and let Martin Balaam takeover. I have every confidence in Martin's abilities to lead the Group and lookforward to maintaining my interest in the business and taking up my role as anon-executive Director, as well as having some time off." Martin Balaam said: "I am extremely excited at the opportunities that lie aheadfor the enlarged Redstone Group." Andrew Stafford-Deitsch said: "I would like to thank Ian for the immensecontribution that he has made to Redstone over four very challenging years.Thanks to his efforts the Company has been transformed into a significant playerin the communications marketplace and I am delighted that he will be anon-executive Director in the future.
