Highland Gold Mining Limited, the AIM quoted Russian gold producer, announces that Andrey Solovyov, an executive director, is standing down from its Board of Directors with effect from today. This follows the appointment of Colin Bershaw to the Board and is to maintain an appropriate number of Company directors.

Mr Solovyov will continue to be head of Human Resources and Administration at Highland and remains a valued member of the Highland management team.
