Announcement by Ecclesiastical Insurance Office plc 

With effect from 1st April 2009, Mr M C J Hews will be appointed as Chief Financial Officer, subject to regulatory approval, and will assume responsibility for the Group's control environment, finance and investment functions and has overall strategic leadership accountabilities. He will be appointed as an Executive Director on 2nd June 2009.

Mr G A Prescott will relinquish his existing responsibilities as Chief Financial Officer from 1st April 2009. He will continue as Deputy Group Chief Executive until his resignation as a director on 2nd June 2009.
