NBNK announces that Lord McFall of Alcluith has today resigned as a Non-Executive Director.

Lord McFall has necessarily divested himself of his directorships in the financial services sector in light of today's announcement that he has been appointed as one of the House of Lords members of the Joint Parliamentary Commission on Banking Standards.

Commenting on Lord McFall's resignation, NBNK's Chairman, Lord Levene, said: "John's experience and expertise will be invaluable to the Commission and we wish him well. He leaves the Board with my thanks for the commitment, energy and enthusiasm that he gave to NBNK over the last two years."
