MicroEmissive Displays Group PLC07 April 2008 For immediate release: 7 April 2008 The following announcement replaces the announcement 7815R released earlier today at 14:38hrs MicroEmissive Displays Group plc ("MED" or "the Company") Appointment of Non-Executive Director MicroEmissive Displays Group plc, the AIM listed designer and manufacturer oflow-power light emitting polymer displays, announces that Glenn Collinson hasbeen appointed as a non-executive director of the Company, with immediateeffect. Glenn (44) co-founded CSR, a fabless semiconductor company, providing singlechip wireless devices, in 1998 and served as an executive director on thecompany's Board, first as Marketing Director and then as Sales Director up to,during and after the company's successful IPO in February 2004. He retired fromCSR Plc in May 2007. He is currently a non-executive director of DiBcom, a fabless semiconductorcompany manufacturing chipsets for low-power mobile and portable TV reception.Glenn also provides consultancy services to other high-tech start-ups throughoutEurope in the fabless semiconductor sector. Glenn served as non-executive director of Sonaptic Ltd from April 2005 until itssale to Wolfson Microelectronics Plc in July 2007. Prior to co-founding CSR,Glenn held the position of Senior Engineer and then Marketing Manager atCambridge Consultants Ltd (1996-1998) and held Design Engineer and MarketingManager positions at Texas Instruments (1989-1996), Motorola (1988-1989) andRacal (1985-1988) Mr. Collinson holds a B.Sc. in Physics and an M.Sc. in Electronics from DurhamUniversity, as well as an MBA from Cranfield University. He is a member of theInstitution of Engineering and Technology.
