Huntsworth, the international healthcare communications and public relations group, announces that, owing to his substantial other business commitments, Mr Tim Ryan will resign from the Company's Board of Directors at the end of his current three-year term of office on 31 December 2017.

Since his appointment, Tim has been the Company's Senior Independent Director and has served as a member of the Audit, Nomination and Remuneration Committees.

The Company has started the process to replace Tim as a non-executive director and Senior Independent Director.

Derek Mapp, Chairman of Huntsworth, said:

"Tim has been part of the Board during a period of significant change for the Company. I would like to thank Tim for his support and for his contribution during this time."

Tim Ryan said:

"It is with regret that I will be stepping down from the Huntsworth Board. I would like to wish the Chairman and the Company all the best in their future endeavours."
