Hambledon Mining PLC28 September 2006 Hambledon Mining plc ("Hambledon" or the "Company") Director Shareholding Hambledon was advised yesterday that the Esterel Trust, a discretionary trust ofwhich George Eccles, the Chairman of Hambledon, is a potential beneficiary,yesterday acquired 25,000 ordinary shares in the Company at 14p per share. Accordingly, George Eccles is now interested in 111,750 ordinary sharesrepresenting 0.003 per cent. of the issued ordinary share capital of theCompany.
