Thomas Cook Group plc announces that Roger Burnell, one of its non-executive directors, has been appointed as a non-executive director of Coventry Building Society with effect from 1 September 2008.

This disclosure is made pursuant to paragraph 9.6.14R of the Listing Rules. There are no other disclosures to be made pursuant to paragraph 9.6.13R (1) - (6) of the Listing Rules.
