Board Changes

Johnston Press plc (the "Company"), one of the UK's foremost news publishers, announces that Mike Butterworth, the Company's Senior Independent Director, has been appointed as a non-executive director of Johnston Press Bond plc with effect from 27 June 2018, replacing Ashley Highfield.

Johnston Press Bond plc is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company and is the issuer of £220 million 8.625% senior secured notes due June 2019 (the "Bonds"). The Bonds are listed on the Irish Stock Exchange.

There is no further information required to be disclosed under paragraph 9.6.14R of the Listing Rules of the Financial Conduct Authority relating to Mr Butterworth's appointment.
