Chris Geoghegan, non-executive director, has notified the Company that he has been appointed non-executive chairman of e2v technologies plc with effect from 1 October 2009. Mr Geoghegan was also appointed a non-executive director of SIG plc on 1 July 2009. 

This disclosure is made pursuant to paragraph 9.6.14 of the Listing Rules.
