Customer win and continued momentum with Azure

WANdisco (LSE: WAND), the LiveData company for machine learning and AI, announces a new contract win with one of the world's largest insurers (the "Customer") and continued customer momentum for the public preview of the LiveData Platform for Microsoft Azure.

The Customer, one of the world's largest insurers serving 100 million customers globally, will use WANdisco's LiveMigrator and LiveData plane solution to migrate data to the Azure cloud. The initial contract targets a regional use case with the expectation that the Customer deploys the solutions across the organisation over time for multiple use cases and at scale. The key factors in the choice of WANdisco's technology was its unique capability of automating analytical data migration to the cloud, with zero risk of downtime or data loss combined with its tight integration with the Azure cloud.

The Company has also seen continued strong uptake for the Company's Azure Cloud platform, with 28 organisations now registered and adding, on average, 10 per week.
