CODASciSys PLC01 September 2005 CODASciSys plc CODASciSys wins key role in MoD's Future Rapid Effect System (FRES) CODASciSys plc ("CODASciSys", stock code: CSY), the IT software and servicesprovider has today announced that its SciSys Division has won a key role inMoD's Future Rapid Effect System ("FRES"). The FRES programme is the most significant UK armoured vehicle project of thenext decade. It will provide a family of medium-weight, armoured fightingvehicles to fulfill a wide range of roles. FRES will deliver modern,battle-winning equipment to the Army. As part of the consortium led by Lockheed Martin, SciSys is to play asubstantial role in the design, integration and demonstration of the ElectronicArchitecture for FRES, one of the MoD's highest profile projects. The initialcontract is worth approximately £1.2m to SciSys for work to be performed in 2005and 2006.
