On 7th July 2008 Greatland Gold plc (the "Company") received notification that Starvest plc ("Starvest") had on 7th July 2008 purchased on-market a further 1,000,000 ordinary shares in the Company. Starvest currently holds 20,000,000 ordinary shares representing 10.18% of the Company's total voting rights.
