Change of Name

HSBC Infrastructure Company Limited (the "Company") confirms that, as announced on 7 March 2011, it has changed its name to HICL Infrastructure Company Limited. This was approved by shareholders at the extraordinary general meeting held on 10 November 2010.

There is no change to the London Stock Exchange ticker of HICL.L, and the SEDOL remains B0T4LH6.

The Company has taken this opportunity to refresh its brand and website, which can be found at www.hicl.com. As previously reported, the costs of the name change and associated rebranding will be borne by the Investment Adviser.

The Investment Adviser is expected to change its name and relocate to new offices in April. Contact details will be advised once this move has taken place.
