BLUE PLANET INTERNATIONAL FINANCIALS INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

("THE COMPANY")

The Company advises that on 19 June 2012 it cancelled for no consideration 3,927,892 shares in itself. These shares were held by Investment Company Investments LLP, the wholly owned subsidiary of the Company.

Following the above cancellation, the Company has 49,781,980 shares in issue.
