Cancellation of Listing

Biotrace International PLC09 February 2007 For immediate release 9 February 2007 Biotrace International Plc (the "Company") Notice of Intention to Cancel Listing The Company hereby announces in accordance with the requirement set out in theListing Rules that, as a result of 3M UK Holdings Limited acquiring or agreeingto acquire issued and outstanding share capital of the Company carrying 75% ofthe voting rights of the Company, the Company will today notify the UK ListingAuthority that it wishes to cancel the listing on the Official List of itsordinary share capital in compliance with the required minimum 20 business days'notice to shareholders of intended cancellation. In the meantime, trading inthe shares will continue on normal market bases until the cancellation of thelisting. The Company intends that, with effect from March 9, 2007, the listingof the shares on the Official List and their trading on the London StockExchange Plc's market for listed securities will be terminated.
