("Abcam" or "the Company")

Block Listing

Application has been made to AIM for the block listing of 210,000 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company ("Shares"). These Shares will be issued as appropriate, over time, in connection with the following option schemes:- 

The Abcam SAYE Scheme - 10,000 Shares. 

The Abcam Enterprise Management Incentive Scheme - 200,000 Shares.

When issued the Shares will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing shares in issue. It is expected that the block listing will become effective on 24 October 2008.
