Mr Carroll is a graduate in Economics from the University of Sydney and aqualified accountant with over 30 years' experience in the resources industryincluding 21 years as a senior finance executive with Woodside Petroleum Ltdwhere he was Chief Financial Officer from January 1997 to mid-2002. Mr Carroll has been a Director of the Company since December 2003. The outgoing Chairman, Alan Burns, commented: "The Company is fortunate to havesuch an experienced oil and gas person as Bob Carroll to lead its Board in itsdevelopment as a significant E & P company."
