Appointment of Detailed Engineering Consultants

SKIL is pleased to announce that it has appointed the Indian Institute of Technology Madras ("IIT") as detailed engineering consultants for its Karanja Terminal development. The selection of IIT followed detailed technical and commercial discussions with a number of competitors in the field of marine and harbour engineering. The IIT department that will be directly responsible for the Karanja Terminal project is the Department of Ocean Engineering ("DoE"), which is the research and development arm of the Institute for Coastal and Ocean Engineering, Hydrodynamics, Floating Structures and Petroleum Engineering Subjects.
