Appointment of CFO

Proxama PLC (AIM: PROX), the leading mobile location and data intelligence expert, is pleased to announce the appointment of David Rae as Chief Financial Officer of the Company with immediate effect.

David is an accomplished CFO with a wealth of public company, growth and international business experience within the technology and energy sectors. He has joined the Proxama board on a part-time basis and will assist in delivering the Location Sciences business plan, in particular, by providing strategic input and leading the finance and investor relations functions.

He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and holds a first-class honours degree in Information Systems and Management Studies from the University of Leeds. He began his career in 1992 with EY's Entrepreneurial Services team in London, where he focused on fast growth companies. After leaving EY in 1999, David worked in corporate finance where he advised both public and private companies on fundraising and M&A activities.

David is currently the CFO of SmartXpo Solutions Limited, the AI and machine learning company to the global events industry. Prior to this, he was CFO of STC Energy Management Limited, a leading energy software technology provider, where he led the sale of the company to Inspired Energy PLC. Previously, David was a non-executive director of Pixels Limited, (formerly AIM quoted as Pixel Interactive Media Limited) which was recently acquired by Gravity4, with responsibility for corporate governance and investor relations.

From September 2006 to July 2008, David was a director of Dawnay, Day Corporate Finance Limited ("Dawnay Day"), which entered into a creditors' voluntary liquidation in February 2009 following Dawnay Day's parent company entering administration, which commenced in July 2008.
