("Amiad" or "the Company") Appointment of Rami Treger as Chief Executive Officer Further to the announcement of 14 May 2007, the Board of Amiad has approved theappointment of Rami Shimon Treger as CEO with effect from 1 August 2007. Rami Treger, 49, has extensive experience in leading companies in the industrialsector. For the past three years he has been CEO at Zohar Dalia, an Israeliindustrial company in the chemical and detergent business. Prior to joiningZohar Dalia in 2003, Mr Treger was CEO of Sasa-Tech, a manufacturer of cleansingmaterial and protective substances for three years. Mr Treger has extensive international experience. He was the Regional CEO ofHaifa Chemicals Asia, located in Thailand, for three years where he built thatcompany's business in Australia, India, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore and thePhilippines. Mr Yosef Katz will cease to be an executive director of the Company with effectfrom 1 August 2007, but will continue to serve as a non-executive director forthe time being. Duringthe past five years, he was a director of Ecolab Israel for 3 years (2004-2006). There are no further details specified by paragraph (g) of Schedule Two to theAIM Rules for Companies to be disclosed in respect of Mr Treger. An EGM of the Company will be convened for early September for the purposes ofapproving Mr Treger's employment agreement.
