19 October 2007 Avingtrans plc AGM Statement

At the Annual General Meeting of Avingtrans plc held on 18 October 2007 all the resolutions put to shareholders were passed, including a final dividend of 0.75p per share payable on 23 November 2007 to shareholders on the register of members on 19 October 2007.

The Chairman made the following comment on current trading during the meeting:

"Sales in the first quarter were lower than expectations; however, order intake was above plan. The integration of Sigma and B&D Patterns is continuing"
