Robinson PLC01 May 2008 1 May 2008 Robinson plc AGM Statement Robinson plc ("Robinson" or "the Company", stock code: RBN), the custommanufacturer of plastic and paperboard packaging based in Chesterfield, willhold its Annual General Meeting today at 11:30am. Richard Clothier, the Chairman, will include the following comments at themeeting: "We were pleased to report a return to profitability in 2007. However, werecognise this is only the start of a much needed trend. We continue tostrengthen our management particularly in sales with a view to raising revenues.The current market conditions remain a challenge, particularly in the UK, withhigh input and material costs expected to continue throughout 2008. Despitethis, we do anticipate further improvement in profitability as a result ofimproved manufacturing efficiencies, and cost control. So far our performance in2008 is line with the Board's expectations."
