Amphion Innovations PLC17 August 2006 Amphion Innovations plc ("Amphion" or the "Company") Additional Shares Placed Further to the announcement of 9 August 2006, and pursuant to the placingdescribed in that announcement, a further 38,462 ordinary shares in the Companywill be issued (the "Additional Placing Shares"). Under the terms of the placing, the Company has issued in aggregate 4,010,769new ordinary shares at 26 pence per share (the "Placing Shares"). It is expected that admission of the Additional Placing Shares will occur at8.00 a.m. on 22 August.
