ADAMAS WINS THREE ACQ Global Awards

Adamas Finance Asia Limited ("AFA" or the "Company") announces that Hong Kong-based Adamas Asset Management ("Adamas"), which acts as investment manager for the Company, has won first place in three categories in the ACQ Global Awards 2014.

Adamas secured the three awards as a result of votes from ACQ's subscribers from the asset management industry around the world.

Adamas was awarded the title of Alternative Asset Management Firm of the Year, as well as first place in the Asia Fund of Funds (Japan Opportunities Fund) and Asia Lender of the Year categories.

This achievement follows Adamas' recent success when it was "just pipped" by the global giant KKR Asset Management to become the "highly commended" runner up for Asia Lender of the Year in the Private Debt Investor Annual Awards 2013.

The Adamas team has been acting as investment manager to AFA since February 2014. Adamas targets SMEs needing capital, with a focus on Greater China. The firm, which was established four years ago, currently has around US$610 million under management and has achieved exits from earlier financings yielding regular dividend distributions and gross Internal Rates of Return ranging between 27% and 34%.

AFA Chairman John Croft said: "The recognition of these three leading industry awards again demonstrates the potential for AFA shareholders to benefit from the strong capabilities and network connections of the Adamas team."

Adamas Managing Partner and CEO Paul Heffner added: "We are thrilled to be recognized in these prestigious awards. They are a tribute to the outstanding performance of our team in Asia, led by Barry Lau, Alan Lau, Mark Hibbs and Chloe Yu. We also thank our investors and shareholders for their support and the members of the ACQ readership for their votes."
