Further to the announcement made on 17 September 2013, Zytronic plc (the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment with immediate effect of Claire Louise Smith, BA (Hons), ACMA, CGMA, CertICM as Finance Director.

Claire Louise Smith (36) has been a Board Director and acting Interim Finance Director since the retirement of Denis Mullan from the Board on the 16 September 2013, having previously served as Group Financial Controller since 2007 and Finance Director of the Group's subsidiary, Zytronic Displays Limited, since January 2012. There is no additional information required to be disclosed in accordance with paragraph (g) of Schedule Two or Rule 17 of the AIM Rules.

Zytronic is the developer and manufacturer of a unique range of internationally award-winning touch sensor products.

These products employ an embedded sensing element and are based around either projected capacitive technology ("PCT TM") or mutual projected capacitive technology (MPCT TM) sensing. Operating from three modern factories near Newcastle-upon-Tyne in the United Kingdom, Zytronic designs and assembles touch sensors using special glass and plastic materials, in environmentally controlled clean rooms.
