Zotefoams PLC28 April 2005 28 April 2005 Zotefoams plc AGM Statement At the Annual General Meeting being held this morning the Chairman, BillFairservice, will give the following update to shareholders: "We are satisfied with the progress that Zotefoams has made so far this year.Trading to date in 2005 has been in line with our expectations. North Americacontinues to be a key driver of our business and, while foreign exchange ratesremain challenging, they have not negatively impacted our trading. Rawmaterials continue to command an increased price compared with the average of2004, although they are currently below the highs experienced earlier this year. Progress in creating a portfolio of new products, including ZOTEK (R)fluoropolymer foams which were launched in 2004 and current development gradesof both nylon and silicone foam, is in line with our expectations. The Board announced on 14 January 2005 that it had received a very preliminaryapproach that may or may not lead to an offer being made for the entire issuedshare capital of Zotefoams. The Board remains in discussions with a number ofparties. There is no certainty that an offer will be made. A furtherannouncement about this matter will be made in due course."
