Zamano (AIM: ZMNO | ESM: ZAZ), the mobile payments and marketing company, today announces that it is now an approved direct carrier billing partner with Three Ireland and has successfully connected to Three Ireland for Direct Operator Billing / Carrier Billing. This connection covers all of Three's customers including those obtained during the recent acquisition of O2. Three represents approximately 36% of the mobile market in Ireland according to latest figures.

Zamano is in the process of developing the required platform infrastructure to allow merchants to sell goods directly by processing payments via direct carrier billing to Vodafone Ireland (already connected) and Three customers. Meteor, the outstanding large carrier, has approximately 18% market share. The final 8% is made up of Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs). Zamano intends connecting to Meteor's intermediate solution dubbed "Transaction SMS" while they implement full carrier billing.
