Zenova FX Range Granted Official Certification

Certification opens up international fire extinguisher market

Zenova Group PLC (AIM: ZED), the innovative fire suppression and interdiction solutions Company, is excited to announce, further to its announcement on 9 October 2023, that the Company's FX fire extinguisher range has now been granted Europe's highest possible EN3-7 standard certifications for 34A, 113B, 75F and Electrical for the Company's 6-litre product and 43A, 183B, 75F and Electrical for its 9-litre offering. The testing was undertaken and certification granted by MPA Dresden, a European Union-recognised certification centre.

Zenova's FX range has been certified across fire classes A, B and F with capability to be used on combustible materials, flammable liquids and cooking oil as well as being safe for use on electrical equipment. Gaining this top certification in multiple-use categories is, the Company believes, an industry first and will allow Zenova to expand into the USD 3.8 billion in 2022 international fire extinguisher market which is expected to grow at CAGR of 6.00% to USD 6.4 billion by 2032 as per www.marketrearchfuture.com The market requires the highest standard certified product, and Zenova can now market directly to the European market, while our immediate competition cannot yet follow. 

In particular, the Company's fluid has been demonstrated effective against lithium battery fires, which is a significant breakthrough in its development.

It saves energy by increasing the thermal insulation level in commercial and residential buildings. Solar heat can increase the temperature within a building by 75% to 90%. Zenova IP has been independently tested and validated to deflect, absorb and dissipate up to 75% of this heat, thereby reducing the inside temperature by up to 45%. Blending the best features of both detectors and extinguishers while avoiding the drawbacks of each. It senses heat rather than smoke, resulting in less false alarms, and it's an automatic system that doesn't require a battery or a person to operate it. The modular Zenova CS unit expels 2.4 - 4.8 L of proprietary Zenova FX suppression fluid at high-pressure to suppress the source of a fire, yet maintains visibility that allows occupants to evacuate quickly.
