ZCCM Invs.Hldgs PLC26 September 2006 ZCCM Investments Holdings Plc Incorporated in the Republic of Zambia ANNOUNCEMENT In accordance with the Listing Rules of the following Stock Exchanges on whichZCCM - IH shares are trading, Lusaka Stock Exchange ( LuSE), London Stockexchange (LSE) and Paris Bourse, the Board of ZCCM-IH announce the appointmentof Mr. Joseph Mwansa Chikolwa as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ZCCM- IH. The appointment is effective from 23rd October 2006. Mr. Chikolwa joins ZCCM - IH from LuSE where he had been General Manager and CEOfrom 2004. Apart from being involved in various activities and strategies topromote the development and growth of the securities market in Zambia, Mr.Chikolwa has a wide range of experience in Banking spanning 17 years mostly incorporate Finance. He is a past President of Zambia Institute of Bankers. Mr. Chikolwa has a degree in Economics from the University of Zambia, a MastersDegree in Finance from the University of Wales, a financial Studies Diploma fromthe Institute of Financial Services (IFS) of the UK and is a Fellow of theZambia Institute of Bankers as well as the Institute for Financial Services, UK.
