NOTICE OF CHANGE IN DIRECTORATE
In compliance with the Securities Act No. 41 of 2016 and the Listing Rules of the Lusaka Securities Exchange (LuSE), the Board of ZCCM Investments Holdings Plc hereby announces the retirement of Mr Paul M Chanda as Board Member of the Company with effect from 10th September 2019.
The Board would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr Chanda for his valuable contribution to the Company during his tenure of office and wishes him success in his future endeavours.
Further, the Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Barnaby Bwalya Mulenga as Board Member of the Company effective 11th September 2019.
Mr Mulenga is the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Mines and Minerals Development. He has worked in the civil service since 2000 and has held various positions including Lands and Deeds Officer/Registrar of Lands and Deeds and Head - Estates and Valuation in the Ministry of Lands before being appointed Commissioner of Lands in the same ministry. He has served as Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Lands, Natural Resources and Environmental Protection and Ministry of Labour and Social Security. Mr Mulenga holds a Masters in Environmental Science and Law (MESL) from the University of Sydney, Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Zambia and is an Advocate of the High Court of Zambia. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Land Economy from the Copperbelt University.
The Board is confident that with his experience, Mr Mulenga will make a valuable contribution to the success of the Company.
