Director Retirement
Zambeef (AIM: ZAM), the fully integrated food producer with operations in Zambia, Nigeria and Ghana, announces the retirement of Irene Muyenga as a Non-executive Director of the Company, effective from 15 June 2016. Irene has been a Non-executive Director of the Company since September 2003 and the Board has greatly appreciated the experience and support Irene has contributed to the development of the Company.
Zambeef Chairman, Dr Jacob Mwanza, commented:
"Irene Muyenga has been a valued colleague for many years. I would like to thank her for the tremendous contribution that she has made to Zambeef since she was appointed to the Board more than 12 years ago. Irene played a valuable role in supporting the growth of Zambeef through her vast knowledge and experience of working with listed companies. On behalf of everyone at Zambeef I would like to wish her a happy and healthy retirement."
