Publication of annual report and financial statements of Onward Homes Limited for the year ended 31 March 2025

Onward Homes Limited (OHL) is the charitable registered provider of social housing within the Onward Group. Onward Group Limited (OGL) is the parent entity in the Onward Group and is a non-charitable registered provider of social housing.

OHL has made a net surplus before tax for the year of £14.2m (2024: £15.1m). This is a year-on-year reduction of £0.9m due to increased net interest costs. Underlying this, operating surplus of £25.8m (2024: £26.0m) has decreased by £0.2m versus the prior year.

OHL ended the financial year with cash and cash equivalents of £15.8m (2024: £14.4m). The increased cash position is a result of funding ahead of anticipated spend on our development programme.

The consolidated group has made a net surplus before tax for the year of £13.3m (2024: £11.6m). Underlying this, operating surplus of £26.5m (2024: £25.0m) has increased by £1.5m versus the prior year.
