XPS Pensions Group, the largest pure pensions consultancy in the UK, announces today that Mike Ainslie, who has served as Chief Financial Officer of XPS Pensions Group since October 2015, has reached an agreement with the Board that he will step down from the Board next year. He is expected to leave the Company at the end of June 2019 once a successor has been appointed and subject to the satisfactory handover of his responsibilities.

The search for a successor is already in progress under the leadership of the Nomination Committee, chaired by Tom Cross-Brown.

Ben Bramhall, co-CEO of XPS Pensions Group plc, said: "Mike has shown an astonishing level of commitment to XPS from the moment he joined us. He was pivotal to the successful flotation and to establishing XPS as a newly-listed company. Mike has also played a key role in the acquisitions and divestments we have made since then."

Mike Ainslie, Chief Financial Officer of XPS Pensions Group plc, said: "I have enjoyed working with XPS enormously over the last three years and I remain fully committed to the group until my successor is appointed next year."
