EXPANSYS hires specialist media & technology Chief Financial Officer

Appoints Tim Eltze as President of US Operations

EXPANSYS (AIM: XPS), a leading global online retailer of consumer wireless technology and provider of mobile network and eCommerce solutions, is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Ogle ACA as Chief Financial Officer with effect from 16 May 2011.

Chris has over 25 years' experience as a finance professional of which nearly 10 years has been as a Finance Director of AIM listed companies.

From 1999 to 2007 he was Finance Director of Flomerics Group plc, a developer of analysis software for electronics companies. He was heavily involved in its expansion, growing its international presence to over 12 countries and ensured its continued profitability through the downturn. He led two significant international acquisitions in Hungary and Germany, the latter being a transformational deal for the company. He was also Finance Director of Artilium plc, an AIM listed developer of software for mobile virtual network operators, where he was instrumental in further corporate transactions.

In his earlier career Chris qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse before spending two years as a management accountant with WPP Group plc and nine years at the Telstar Entertainment Group where he rose to become Deputy Group Finance Director.

More recently, as a consultant over the past two years, Chris has advised a number of companies including a mobile virtual network operator and supplier of international calling cards.

Chris has extensive investor relations experience and with Flomerics was winner of the AIM award for Best Communications. He was deputy Chairman of the Financial Reporting Committee for the Quoted Companies Alliance and has undertaken various speaking engagements for the London Stock Exchange.

Appointment of Tim Eltze as President of US Operations

EXPANSYS is further pleased to announce that Tim Eltze, previously Chief Operating Officer of EXPANSYS has accepted the position of President of US Operations. The USA represents one of EXPANSYS' most attractive growth opportunities, particularly for SIM distribution having recently signed our first major nationwide SIM card distribution agreement with T-Mobile, one of America's largest carriers. Tim's combination of EXPANSYS retail and DSNS Sim Card distribution experience makes him a uniquely qualified leader for our business in North America.
